Our mission is to provide quality, evidence-based practices to persons in Enhanced Behavioral Support Homes (“EBSH”) in California.
It is often difficult to locate an intensive support environment with demonstrated success, and close to home. Our programs are located in Santa Cruz, Santa Clara, and San Benito Counties, and are often a relief to both the individuals we support AND their families. Families experience the benefits of frequent communication with support staff and Administrators, and are included in the person-centered process. Together, we discover what is important TO and FOR the individual, and strive to identify what needs to change to achieve a balance between the TO and the FOR.
Our sister agency, Essential CEU Institute, is a State-recognized continuing education provider for Administrators, direct support staff, registered nurses, school psychologists, and BBS certificants (e.g., LPCC, LEP, LMFT and LCSW). This means that EBSI teams also enjoy the benefits of these continuing education hours, and can access them anywhere, anytime.
